Amelia leads the way; Sussex XC League Stanmer Park 3rd Dec 2022
Crawley Athletic Club athletes were first in the women’s (Amelia Cox) and second in the men’s (Josh Hobbs) races at the third round of the Sussex AA cross country league. Other strong performances in the senior races were Xander Sproston 5th in the men's race (2nd U20) and Stephanie Shaw 6th in the womens (2nd U17). However, with several athletes missing, the team scores were considerably lower than the previous fixtures with the women 7th and the men 5th.
Other notable performances were: Senior Men Xander Sproston 5th overall (2nd U20), Tom James 24th (11th U20) U17 Men team 2nd, [Luke Newton (4th), Sam Sprostranov (5th), Toby Jenkins (19th)] U17 Women team 7th; Stephanie Shaw (2nd) was the only runner U15 Girls team 1st; [Rihanon Daniels (1st), Alice Cox (4th), Niamh Lesova (10th)] U15 Boys team 5th; [Alex Ballard (14th), John Clayton (15th), Dominic Airey (36th)] U13 Girls team 2nd; [Bibi Webb (3rd), Amelie Whitehouse (5th), Renee Daniels (22nd)] U13 Boys 9th; [Oliver Alyward (12th), Remi Hussey (36th), Ewan Roy-Macleod (37th)]U11 Boys; Xander Wagjiani (3rd) U11 Girls; Darcie Wickenden (3rd)
