Crawley Athletic Club Women continue to lead the way in the Sussex Cross Country League; second fixture Ardingly, Sat 12th Nov 2022
The Crawley Athletic Club women, lead by their U20 and U17 athletes, continue to lead the Sussex Cross Country league after another fine team victory at Ardingly. Amelia Cox, U20, was second over the finish line, to back up her first place from the opening fixture, behind her in third was another U20, Frankie Clayton. The third Crawley athlete, Stephanie Shaw, was the leading U17 athlete with a strong 7th place. Fourth finisher for the team, and balancing out the ages, was 42-year-old Sharon Gordon.
Josh Hobbs (3rd) and Kieran Barnes (5th) were the leading Crawley AC runners in the senior men's race. Overall the team were 6th.
